This grill is awesome for those folks whose condo laws do not allow an open fire grill on the balcony. I read some negative reviews about this grill but I trusted Weber’s name. It cooks fantastic. I cooked steaks and burgers for a dinner for 6 people on it and was very happy with the results. Clean up is easy as everything fits into the dishwasher. I bought the rolling cart too and it is very stable. Things I like:
–Quick warm up and ready to cook. Going the traditional briquette route was and is a 30 minute lead time. This electric baby is ready to rock within 5 minutes and that has its place depending on one’s time and schedule. For example, I can grill a hamburger patty about as fast as putting it in a frypan and the grilled burger definitely tastes better without the grease.
–The reflective heat in the egg, or oval, shaped electric grill. It’s intensely hot in there and cooks as fast as a briquete fired kettle Weber.
–Overall convenience and having the main innards of the grill able to go into the dishwasher for cleanup.
Would highly recommend this grill if you can not have an open flame grill at home.
